Santacon
Are your Christmas traditions becoming banal? Does tree-trimming seem trite, caroling too commonplace, roasting chestnuts a little too warmed-over? Santacon began in San Francisco in 1994 as an event orchestrated by the local chapter of the Cacophony Society.
Santarchy, (or Santacon,) is the annual Santa Claus hell-raising, pub-crawl, celebration held each December in various cities around the world. In Toronto, about fifty people dress as Santa and cause trouble on a pub crawl.
Their Toronto Rampage, is planned for Dec 18th. The Washington,DC Santarchy will be held this Saturday, Dec 4th. Detroit is finalizing their plans.
