Good Morning. What a gloomy ass day I have today. I couldn't get (my daughter ) Skye to budge at all this morning, so I'll hate to drive her in later. Then I'm off to visit blogfriends. And I really must get started on a piece about cowboy coffee and cabins in the woods.

{television} PBS's Masterpiece Theatre is presenting Dr Zhivago. It came on Nov 2, Sunday and concludes next Sunday, Nov 9. It's very good. Did you know it won the Nobel Prize for Literature in it's time? (Although it was stripped of him later.)

{books} Read any good books lately? Two writers I enjoy-- Anne Rice's 'Blood Canticle' is out. But I've not read her books in some time, so I'd be lost on this one. What an imagination. And 'Love', by Toni Morrison, debuts this week. The first chapter can be read here. (She had me at 'Beloved'.) Now I write much more than I read. For instance, am I the only one who has NOT read The Da Vinci Code?

Oh, cool. My Prozac fits into my Pez dispenser.

ABOUT EBC

It wasn't long after 9/11, September 11, 2001, that I began this website. I felt compelled to connect with other people around the globe. I had recently heard about "weblogs" or "blogs" and I dove right into Blogger.com. I searched for others to connect with online and I found Ageless. It led to meeting many great friends to discuss events of the day. From then on it snowballed. Most importantly we offered one another support and friendship across the globe; finding that we were just a few keystrokes away.
