Happy Friday!

Party Monster brought to life the ice-cold murder story surrounding infamous Disco 2000 club kid Michael Alig and his victim Angel Melendez. The Macaulay Culkin /Seth Green starrer is based on the book Party Monster written by club-kid-turned-author James St. James, and it certainly became a monster of a hit. Word spread like wildfire across the festival when it was discovered that outrageously high-priced tickets to the screening were selling on eBay, prompting anxious ticket holders to stand in line hours before the show. [based on the real "Limelight" club in [Chelsea] New York my sister and I are so aware of. The Limelight, I believe it's still closed down, used to be a very old Episcopal Church; London has a Limelight in a former church now.]

This and other "Patriotic" Posters can be found here. Some posters are pretty fierce to express the tragedy of war.
2/1/2003*UPDATE: I'd forgotten to give credit for the poster link. I found it at Your Daily Dose of Diversion, a great site for well, your daily dose of diversion, who said they found the link at Milk and Cookies.

The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror VIII

It wasn't long after 9/11, September 11, 2001, that I began this website. I felt compelled to connect with other people around the globe. I had recently heard about "weblogs" or "blogs" and I dove right into I searched for others to connect with online and I found Ageless. It led to meeting many great friends to discuss events of the day. From then on it snowballed. Most importantly we offered one another support and friendship across the globe; finding that we were just a few keystrokes away.
