Ever see bloggers put their blog lists in categories? That's handy. I suppose. But it depends on how it's done. I've seen weblogs that will categorize their lists in sections like, "Daily Reads", "Monthly Reads", and "Every Now and Then Reads". Why don't they go ahead and spell it out? "My Favorite Reads", "Occasionally Have Something Significant To Say Reads", "Totally Lame, But For Reasons I Don't Quite Understand Will List Them Anyway Reads". It's your blog, do it how you want, that's the independent web way and all, which I totally get behind. But, I'd never ever consider listing YOUR blog on my "Occasional Reads", or "Not Totally Lame Reads" lists. You're ALL favorites to me.

In western North Carolina, we have snow predictions for early evening. Also for Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia. It's in west Tennessee now. Surrounding states to expect snow/rain mix. We're supposed to get 3-6 inches; maybe more. We've not had a decent snowfall in about a month or so, so I'm looking forward to a beautiful snowstorm. Right after I stock up on extra groceries, etc. Everyone makes a mad dash to the market after a weather forecast like this. I wonder if it's like that everyplace.

Sony Pictures Classics has secured North American distribution rights for the film, Masked and Anonymous, which stars Bob Dylan as a wandering minstrel. It will premiere Jan 22 at 2003 Sundance Film Festival. I had a post about this movie back on June 26 on my old Blogspot site that gives more details about this movie.

Music On My Mind
Did you ever wake up to find
A day that broke up your mind
Destroying your notion of circular time

~Sway - Jagger/Richards

Speaking of Jagger, daughter Jade, is definitely in the pink.

Orlando's new Hard Rock Cafe's Vault is a museum, with a wall-sized quilt depicting Frank Zappa as a playing card constructed from ladies' underwear thrown on stage during some long-ago tour. The brightly colored tapestry is undeniably cool, a focal point of the new attraction with a rock 'n' roll attitude at Mercado on International Drive, in Orlando, Florida. More info here on the Orlando Vault contents; including the rumpled black leather jacket worn by Bruce Springsteen on the Born to Run cover. There's also Bob Dylan's typewritten lyric sheets for "I Want You," "Absolutely Sweet Marie" and "Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again," songs from his landmark Blonde on Blonde album, in the Vault.

ABOUT EBC

It wasn't long after 9/11, September 11, 2001, that I began this website. I felt compelled to connect with other people around the globe. I had recently heard about "weblogs" or "blogs" and I dove right into Blogger.com. I searched for others to connect with online and I found Ageless. It led to meeting many great friends to discuss events of the day. From then on it snowballed. Most importantly we offered one another support and friendship across the globe; finding that we were just a few keystrokes away.
