This list was originally posted 6 years ago but the list still holds up quite well. I saw BETTY BLOWTORCH last night which is #1 on the list. The mark of a good documentary or film to me is that long after it's over I'm still thinking about it. I woke up today thinking about Betty Blowtorch and what could have been.
"Betty Blowtorch and her Amazing True Life Adventures" is jam packed with live footage of the band playing various shows. It also features interviews with the band and those fortunate enough to come in contact with them. The history of Betty Blowtorch is pretty well laid out here, giving plenty for the die-hard fans out there to drool over, and maybe even opening a few eyes and ears to their brutal power.
We dare you not to be moved by the tragic story presented here.
It wasn't long after 9/11, September 11, 2001, that I began this website. I felt compelled to connect with other people around the globe. I had recently heard about "weblogs" or "blogs" and I dove right into Blogger.com.
I searched for others to connect with online and I found Ageless. It led to meeting many great friends to discuss events of the day. From then on it snowballed.
Most importantly we offered one another support and friendship across the globe; finding that we were just a few keystrokes away.
