Underreported slave labor that shames America.

Calling all farmworker allies for a special brand-busting action vs. Burger King!

You might have seen or heard of BK's new "whopper freakout" ad campaign... but now it's time to turn the tables and show that the only thing to "freakout" about at Burger King is the human rights crisis in Florida's tomato fields. link
"The ruthless exploitation of farm workers is a national disgrace,"
Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) met with farm workers in Florida on Thursday and Friday to support their campaign to persuade Burger King to join other fast-food chains that have raised the pay for tomato pickers by paying a penny a pound more for the product. link

BK has been ditched the farmers by not giving the price for their products which they really deserved to get. Farmers should get better price for their products...

ABOUT EBC

It wasn't long after 9/11, September 11, 2001, that I began this website. I felt compelled to connect with other people around the globe. I had recently heard about "weblogs" or "blogs" and I dove right into Blogger.com. I searched for others to connect with online and I found Ageless. It led to meeting many great friends to discuss events of the day. From then on it snowballed. Most importantly we offered one another support and friendship across the globe; finding that we were just a few keystrokes away.
