The American kirtan movement is alive and well in Asheville, NC.Bhagavan Das, one of the central figures in Ram Dass' Be Here Now, returned to Asheville this week to lead kirtan at the Namaste Center on Saturday, Jan. 6. (Virato interviewed him on his radio program the last time he was in town.)
And there's Sangita Devi, a group that holds kirtan Namaste every Tuesday @ 7:30 p.m., for a donation. Info: sangitadevi.com.
