Hope your voting experience was positive and hassle free.

Depending on the election turnout, I have a John Kerry Victory post drafted and waiting or I'll be in mourning and attending a grief counseling appointment tomorrow.

**I was telling Mac earlier that I'm just petrified thinking about how much more damage a Republican House, Senate and Prez can do in four more years and how many more people will have to die in the Iraq greedfest. And I worry if there'll be any forests left. And about Women's Rights, and their Right to Choose, the Patriot Act I & II and what else they have in store for us in that vein. The changes to our Constitution couldn't be more wrong, gambling with our Social Security, and if there's not a draft before long I'll be surprised, and on and on and on.....

I just want what's best for all Americans and no one will ever be able to convince me that a Republican will be the one to do that job. If you ask someone what makes America great, they'll tell you it's the chance to have the American Dream. To go to school, to find decent housing, for only the best opportunities, to have proper healthcare, and to raise a family, etc. Guess what? That's the fundamental priorities of the Democratic Party, the Independents and Greens. Droves of people from other continents and countries don't come to the United States just to strike it rich in the stock market, or to see that pharmaceutical companies needs are met before health care. They didn't come from far away to tear down the forests for more buildings. Or to let our air get stunk up from pollution by companies who suffer no repercussions. They didn't come all the way over here to work hard, then lose their job to outsourcing, or to make those hard decisions of whether to buy groceries or buy their medicine.

We're a nation divided alright. And not just between Democrats and Republicans.

ABOUT EBC

It wasn't long after 9/11, September 11, 2001, that I began this website. I felt compelled to connect with other people around the globe. I had recently heard about "weblogs" or "blogs" and I dove right into Blogger.com. I searched for others to connect with online and I found Ageless. It led to meeting many great friends to discuss events of the day. From then on it snowballed. Most importantly we offered one another support and friendship across the globe; finding that we were just a few keystrokes away.
