(Right this way, Bigfoot.) See Graph on this [link]. One formula is: (Shoe Size + 5) / 2. So (shoe size 11 plus 5) = 16; and divided by 2 = 8 inches. I stopped my personal survey sometime after my last marriage, so you think this is pretty accurate?
