Lords of Water

How did the process of overpopulation, liberals, environmental organizations and Wall Street all come together to privatize water on a global scale?

The documentary Lords of Water does a great job of exploring exactly that:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not surprisingly as the documentary notes a lot of the movement toward actual water privatization (and the Green Party's complicity in it) made its early appearance in Australia.

I don't know if anyone remembers that wonderful B movie with a capital B from the 1980s Solarbabies?

Well say what you will about the film, call it absurd if you will, but as absurd as it may have seemed it nailed what the corporations and state would try to do with water in the future.
