CocoRosie are two American-born sisters, Sierra (Rosie) and Bianca (Coco), who started making music together in Paris in 2003.

The nomadic duo (currently and temporarily residing in New Mexico) spent much of 2008 writing and recording in Buenos Aires, Melbourne, Berlin, New York, and Paris, finding amazing and diverse musicians to collaborate along the way. The result is their 11-song Sub Pop debut, Grey Oceans, which came out May 11th, 2010.

New Arcade Fire's The Suburbs

Monday, June 14, 2010

One of the most-anticipated albums of the year, The Suburbs will be released Aug. 2 in the UK and Aug. 3 in the U.S. and Canada via Merge and the band’s own Sonovox label.

At this very moment, there isn’t anyone hotter than Arcade Fire, and for good reason. “The Suburbs” and “Month of May” 7″ kicked off a blistering month that included the announcement of an album worth paying for, tour dates, and a few secret shows. Continuing their takeover of the blogosphere, the Canadian rockers have now unveiled the first official US single from The Suburbs, the striking “Ready to Start”.

ABOUT EBC

It wasn't long after 9/11, September 11, 2001, that I began this website. I felt compelled to connect with other people around the globe. I had recently heard about "weblogs" or "blogs" and I dove right into Blogger.com. I searched for others to connect with online and I found Ageless. It led to meeting many great friends to discuss events of the day. From then on it snowballed. Most importantly we offered one another support and friendship across the globe; finding that we were just a few keystrokes away.
